What can I help you with?

I offer private counselling to young people with a range of issues including; anxiety, depression, stress, self–harming, bereavement, gender, sexuality, abuse, bullying, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues and much more.

I am a person-centred counsellor; this means that I work with you.

My therapy sessions are client led. I work in a gentle, down to earth and non-judgemental way. Working together we can explore and clarify difficult feelings and emotions.

Although my core approach is person centred I use a variety of therapy techniques, including a range of creative interventions, Mindfulness and CBT. The sessions are tailored to meet the unique and individual needs of each young person and always embraces any special needs or neurodiversity.

I am also a Trauma-Informed Therapist, this means that I have an in-depth understanding of the way in which the body and mind reacts, adapts and changes in response to developmental trauma and other traumatic events.

Whether you are at home, school, college, University, in an apprenticeship or employed, I can help you find strategies to cope and become more resilient when life feels difficult. I can encourage you to feel empowered and confident in the face of stressful obstacles and nurture a lasting sense of hope and self-belief.

I will listen and give you the space to grow, to learn about who you are and who you want to be, so you can flourish and thrive.
